I have this stabbing pain in the pack of my brain. And yes, I have checked, it’s not a knife. I’m a little concerned as it’s not particulary fun trying to concentrate and having someone stab you in the skull. I am attempting to take ‘pain pills’ to cull the sensation and was surprised at how cheap they were. Anytime you can get 100 pills of anything for less than $1.80 something is terribly wrong. Turns out Panamax aren’t the cheepest pillz no more! Viva La Paracetemol Sandoz!

Ben Gibbons seems to have decided to come to Australia to peddle his wares. I can only assume he’s come to rub it in, y’know. I mean it’s only been 4 months, and there’s only one thing that has changed in that time! If you could assure me that they would play “Sentimental Heart” or “Got Me” with Zooey in tow, then hecks yes I’d be there for shizz. I guess I better attend one show, cause I got a feeling I’m going to have to “THROW DOWN” if you know what I mean.

I’m back in the present. I guess you could say- Back To The Present or BTTP. We realised the other day that alot of people incorrectly use ‘back to the future’ as an expression. Really, the only way to properly use that is if someone travelled into the future either by a Delorean or perhaps the International Date Line. The only think we could think of is if someone attempted to make something that they assumed to be futuristic and then decided it wasn’t and made it contemporary. Make sense?

I guess that’s a little bit of WISHFUL THINKING. The title refers to the 3rd Cricket test that has begun today. Heres hoping that it actually goes to 5 days and that SA don’t beat Australia in 2 or 3 days! The plan is to honour Jane McGrath also, by having pink hats.

The mood to makes and break promises. Seeing as it’s the new year and I don’t feel any different, I thought I would embark on a crazy promise making excercise that would end in nothing but tears and lies.
Crazy Promise Number 1-

  • To get a “sleeve” done.

So this is the new year.
And i don’t feel any different.

Still the feeling of bitterness towards Mr Gibbons. This is meant to be the time of year that I am rejoicing in “The New Year” sending off appropriate text messages and such, but this year it just seems so fake and shallow. 2009 is here. 2009 is now. This is going to be one crazy year, trust me.

Today was not a good way to end the year. Turns out my unhealthy obsession with Zooey Deschanel has caused some dark clouds to form. Ben Gibbard? How could you? All those years of support, all those times I’ve seen you perform? And then this is how you repay me? COME ON!!!

Maybe it was today that I got back from Beijing. I’m not all that sure, as the Beijing has clouded my mind in ways that I can’t even begin to describe in a weblog. It’s good to be back? Yes it is. I don’t have a scooter in Beijing, although sometimes I wish I did. I really wish that the rehydration technology from BTTF 2 worked with scooters. Or in fact was actually real.

Today I got back from Beijing. I am kinda glad. Beijing without a car or proper public transport makes things really difficult. I did however master a front flip on a trampoline. So I guess you could say that the trip ,on a whole,  was a success.

Beijing’s public transport is teh worsts. Believe that.
